AFC PINE AM

 Some days are not always what we expect them to be. Today did not end up being a forest day as we had too many teachers out to help keep everyone safe. We will try again next week :)  I have had a couple families inquire about a Pine room wish list.  Hello Pine Friends and happy Monday!  This week we have changed out some centers and our words of the week! Ask your kiddo if they can tell you about the changes! (hint: on/off; flour and baking tools in the sensory table; bugs have left the small world, now there are forest animals; hopscotch)

Today was a Ms. Amy day and she does not disappoint with her fun group time! Friends enjoyed some new outer space items during centers

 Can you believe we are in the month of DECEMBER?! The time is going to fly until winter break.... Unfortunately we did not make it to the forest today. We have lots of runny noses and coughs and kiddos in light jackets and teachers out sick that just led to a day sticking together at school. We did get outside for a little for some fresh air!

Today was a special day in Pine room. Our friend Ari had a birthday on Thurs Nov 30, but unfortunately was out sick, so we had the celebration today! He chose a PJ day, was the special helper during circle time, our music master during music and movement, and shared his favorite book Creepy Carrots ! Some friends made him special birthday cards on Thursday to give him today as well. Finally, Ari decorated his special (birth)day canvas which is hanging in the hallway. Friends could also check out some fun pictures of him hanging on our Special Day board in the classroom.  This week we are continuing with the words IN and OUT with music, stories, and play. We are exploring Space Art, leaves in the wind tunnel, small world, baby dolls, and roads and cars.
