Happy Monday!

Today was a special day in Pine room. Our friend Ari had a birthday on Thurs Nov 30, but unfortunately was out sick, so we had the celebration today! He chose a PJ day, was the special helper during circle time, our music master during music and movement, and shared his favorite book Creepy Carrots! Some friends made him special birthday cards on Thursday to give him today as well. Finally, Ari decorated his special (birth)day canvas which is hanging in the hallway. Friends could also check out some fun pictures of him hanging on our Special Day board in the classroom.

This week we are continuing with the words IN and OUT with music, stories, and play. We are exploring Space Art, leaves in the wind tunnel, small world, baby dolls, and roads and cars.

Week 2 Day 2

Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

It was a Ms Amy day!

Ms Amy Wednesday

Ms Amy always has fun practicing speech and language! Our friends had lots of opportunities for different kinds of movement.
