Week 4!

Hello Pine Family and welcome to week 4 of school! This week we are continuing some of the same fun things we did last week, but of course discovering new things as well. We are practicing our words GO and STOP in various ways: music & movement, stories, and activities. Some friends asked for cars and we explored how to make them STOP and GO. Our invitations for centers included: the sensory table, with a friends treasure hunt using tongs, practicing friend's names and matching; the dramatic play area with office supplies encouraging students to find the letters in their names; and playdough that was colored RED like STOP that we could roll, smash and create with. We celebrated a new friend Jackson joining us today and his 3rd Birthday! He decorated his birthday tree cookie and has started our classroom birthday mosaic and we all wore his favorite color blue. Our friend Reef celebrated his birthday on Friday Sept. 9th but since we weren't at school we would like to celebrate him tomorrow! Please wear his favorite color RED to school!!

It was a Ms Amy day!

Happy Wednesday

How lucky are we that it was nice weather which allowed for much needed outside time!

Happy New Year!

Hello Pine AM friends! It is so nice to see you guys again after 20 days! I hope everyone enjoyed the time off and maybe even a little fun in the snow. Today we only had 2 kiddos come to school which felt so strange but we made the best of it. We will be ready to fully jump back in the swing of things next week with new words IN and OUT, exploring our expanded Bakery and Cafe in our dramatic play area, reading stories about winter and hands on experiences with things that are cold.
