Welcome February!

Good Morning Pine Families! We had a blast today playing and learning together. First we did arrival activities with food, playdough and potato head working on our magic words IN and OUT. For our centers Ms. Julie stopped by and did a motor center at the carpet. We had to identify the color of a block (light-up Lego) crawl in the tunnel and out the other end with the piece. The friend had to then take the block and stack it. If they pushed it all the way on, ask them what happened! Our social skills center at the table was Pop the Pig game again. Our friends are getting really good about waiting for a turn and paying attention to whose turn it is. Our common area was in and out of the wind tunnel, rhyming matches, and retelling the story of The Mitten. For snack we ate graham crackers and oranges. But the best part of today was the nice weather outside; we played hard on the lower playscape!

I know there are rumors of snow....maybe we will see you tomorrow, maybe we won't. If we don't see you, have fun in the snow and stay safe and warm!

Week 2 Day 2

Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

It was a Ms Amy day!

Happy Wednesday

How lucky are we that it was nice weather which allowed for much needed outside time!
