Tuesday 1-11

Pine room had fun today exploring and learning. We started with some building, shape sorting and reading. Ms. Julie (OT) came to play and brought a fun center at the carpet using our magic words up, down, and where while navigating an obstacle course and building a mat man snow man with straight and curved lines. We again used our imaginations to create with our winter white playdough. Friends also got to scoop, pour and fill with winter white beans and rice. We stayed indoors for gross motor time and utilized the foyer for some fort fun. Creativity was flowing as we transformed the magnetic cushions into planes, a bus and a rollercoaster! We ended with some more parachute play.

Week 2 Day 2

 Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)
