Ready, Set, Tuesday!

Welcome back from the long weekend! I hope you all had a fun Halloween!

Today we had some exciting new manipulatives for arrival/table time. While we did that we updated our All About me book (we missed October and had to get it done today, oops)

We also had some new centers: Ms. Julie brought a fun sensory game at the table, we had a barn and farm animals at the carpet, and in the common area we played with our leftover mini pumpkins. We cut them open and dug them out and then had to decide if they would float or sink.

Outside we played on the lower playscape and Ms. Julie brought some cool bubbles for us to pop. And if you ever wonder why you find sand in your kiddo's pockets, shoes, hair, etc....

Week 2 Day 2

Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

It was a Ms Amy day!

Ms Amy Wednesday

Ms Amy always has fun practicing speech and language! Our friends had lots of opportunities for different kinds of movement.
