A beautiful Fall Monday!

Welcome back! We had a fun Fall day together.

Table time was fun as a group of our friends worked together to build a tall tower at the light table, while some friends read books in the library and played pegs at the table.

Ms. Kari joined us today for centers and group time. She introduced the magic words what, make, and not. We had some really cool centers where we got to "make" things. In the common area we decided to "make" musical instruments and today it was a tambourine. We used our fine motor skills by cutting beads to put into our paper plates. We will finish decorating them tomorrow. By the end of the week we should have a band assembled to play some great music! At the table we got to help make our Gak by adding some beautiful colors to it! On the carpet we used our colored shapes to "make" pictures (tangrams). At group time Ms. Kari read the book Not a Box by Antoinette Portis which practiced our magic words.

Today was forest day and we soaked up the beautiful weather! We made birdfeeders out of old pumpkins and left them in the forest to feed the animals.

At snack, we had something very special to eat that was donated to our class. Thanks Logan, glad we could celebrate you can enjoying some new foods with us!

It was a Ms Amy day!

Happy Wednesday

How lucky are we that it was nice weather which allowed for much needed outside time!

Happy New Year!

Hello Pine AM friends! It is so nice to see you guys again after 20 days! I hope everyone enjoyed the time off and maybe even a little fun in the snow. Today we only had 2 kiddos come to school which felt so strange but we made the best of it. We will be ready to fully jump back in the swing of things next week with new words IN and OUT, exploring our expanded Bakery and Cafe in our dramatic play area, reading stories about winter and hands on experiences with things that are cold.
