Hello Pine Families and welcome back!
Today we had lots of fun with new things in class, check it out!
We started our day with sign-in and table activities.
Next, we had centers. Our table center was painting with mini pumpkins and Halloween sensory box.
Our carpet center we got to use a mallet to hammer golf tees into a pumpkin. We took turns and made sure to make safe choices.
Our common area center was rolling on a scooter board, using our strong muscles, and putting an animal puzzle piece into the puzzle. We practiced waiting our turn and cheering on our friends.
Our friend Ms. Kari joined us today for group time.
We played inside today in our Gym. So many fun adventures to be had, and the best part, we get to play in our socks! We love the squish machine, ball track, climbing wall, giant beanbag (crash pad), rocking, doll house, dinosaurs, small and large magnet tiles, and playing with balls of course!
Ms. Kari also stayed and visited with us during snack.
To end our day, at group time, we said Hello to some of our feeling buddies and met a new one! Feel free to talk about feelings at home too! We are learning that we all have feelings and that they are ok, but we need to know how to recognize them and how to deal with them appropriately! (This is a program from Conscious Discipline)
