Happy Monday Funday!

Good Day Pine Room Families! We had a very fun day to kick off another week of school. We had new centers, our friend Ms. Kari came to play with us, and we went on a trip to the forest!

We are still practicing our magic words on and off. One of our centers was rolling a cube and identifying the color it showed, finding that color leaf and then putting it on the tree.

Another center was using playdough and Potato Head pieces to make a Playdough head. We talked about the pieces we put on to make our creation.

Our third center was putting rubber bands on pumpkins. This took some effort as we learned how to stretch the rubber band with our strong fingers to fit around the pumpkin. After some attempts at putting rubber bands on, we enjoyed exploring the sensory table.

We love learning with Ms. Kari!

We had a great adventure to the forest. On our walk, we played "I spy" and tried to spy Halloween/Fall decorations. While there we ran through the trails, found special treasures, had a leaf party, and explored the outdoors with our friends! Sorry if we came home a little dirty and/or wet 😁

Week 2 Day 2

Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

It was a Ms Amy day!

Ms Amy Wednesday

Ms Amy always has fun practicing speech and language! Our friends had lots of opportunities for different kinds of movement.
