Happy Monday!

Welcome back Pine Family! We got to explore some new items at center time today: beans in the sensory table, marble run, cardboard blocks and multicultural playdough with misc items so we could make our faces. We also had a blast taking a trip to the forest!!!!!

We are learning to write basic shapes and get our fine motor skills/strong hands to be able to write our names!

Friends love to build towers and we are learning that only when YOU make it is when YOU get to knock it down. It's ok to tell a friend STOP!

Some of us decided to use our imagination and make birthday cakes!

Marble run makes our brains work hard to figure out how to connect the tubes so that the marbles will run through it in fun ways. They say, "Team work makes the Dream work!"

We used our imaginations to pretend the blocks were chompers and eating friends' hands.

We made sure to help all of our friends make it to the forest safely by sticking together!

We found treasures and discovered things we could do with them.

All the fallen trees are fun to climb on!

Even when it was time to leave, we remembered to find a buddy & stick together to stay safe!

Week 2 Day 2

Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

It was a Ms Amy day!

Ms Amy Wednesday

Ms Amy always has fun practicing speech and language! Our friends had lots of opportunities for different kinds of movement.
