Puddle Bliss!

We finally got to play in some puddles this morning! Since it rained too hard yesterday to enjoy the rain, we decided that we could try again today. Some of the boys were more interested in others, but all in all it was fun to splash around and get messy.

J even found a new way to use the chalk! He picked some up and brought it over to a small puddle. J took his favorite color, green, and began vigorously rubbing the chalk into the pavement. It was like magic! The chalk sort of turned into a paste and the color became vibrant and thick. It was so cool looking! I always enjoy the different ways the boys use materials. So innovative!

Have a great weekend!

Week 2 Day 2

Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

Happy First Day of School 24-25!

Welcome Pine Families to our 24-25 school year! We were so happy to have your kiddos with us today. Check out the fun we had :)

Day 2 Pine room fun!

Today we spent more time getting to know each other and exploring our spaces. For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.
