Heading into Break

We had such a fun filled morning full of music, movement, and musical chairs! While playing early this morning, B and A were requesting different songs to listen and dance to. It was so fun! Not only did they dance until they were exhausted, but they made so many different requests. That gave Ms. Julie an idea... what if we played a simple game of musical chairs?! After asking the kids what songs they wanted to hear, we began our game. It was such a great experience! It was a simple stop and go self regulation game that everyone played. I wish I had video, but of course we were all heavily involved 😊

At the end of the day, we settled into the Dogwood room with some cookies and a short movie. Such a great way to end the last day before spring break. Please be safe and we will see you all on March 29!

Week 2 Day 2

Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

Happy First Day of School 24-25!

Welcome Pine Families to our 24-25 school year! We were so happy to have your kiddos with us today. Check out the fun we had :)

Day 2 Pine room fun!

Today we spent more time getting to know each other and exploring our spaces. For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.
