Friends on a Swing

 After a busy morning of sand, playdoh, wind tunnel, and some bubbles in the classroom we headed outside. Most of the boys were quite interested in spending their time swinging on the swing! This was such a great opportunity to practice some good core words: go, more, and want! It was such a peaceful time as the boys soaked up the sunshine, greeted each other with warm smiles and giggles, and enjoyed some good hard play! Week 2 Day 2

 Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

Monday 2/12

 Happy Monday! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. Not sure who is a football fan, but YAY CHIEFS!!!!! Let's celebrate this week by wearing Red for the Chiefs big Super Bowl win as well as red (or pink) for Valentine's Day!  Wednesday we are hosting a family pop in to help celebrate Valentine's day in our own Ambrose way. We will be talking all things love and friendship this week and would love to make a friendship mix as a special snack. Can you believe that we only have one more day together this school year? Today we celebrated the second to last day with a summer bday celebration. We also revealed our tie dyed shirts! (we only did a light rinse, beware that colors will run when you wash!!) TOMORROW: WATER DAY! You need to wear your suit, water friendly shoes, sunscreen already applied, water bottle, towel and dry clothes to change into!
