After a busy morning of sand, playdoh, wind tunnel, and some bubbles in the classroom we headed outside. Most of the boys were quite interested in spending their time swinging on the swing! This was such a great opportunity to practice some good core words: go, more, and want! It was such a peaceful time as the boys soaked up the sunshine, greeted each other with warm smiles and giggles, and enjoyed some good hard play! Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day! Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th).
