Nature Walk in the Warm Sun

I think I can speak for everyone when I say we were SO excited to take a little nature walk around the neighborhood and soak up the sunshine. As we walked the kids picked up anything that fancied them, but the most popular nature find were those prickly gumballs!

B & T were especially curious about the little spikes coming out of them. B did his best to carry as many as he could, while T was content with just holding one and then passing some out to whoever wanted one.

J found it particularly interesting to use a stick to hit the gumball around like a hockey puck!

As we walked the boys noticed the melting ice and snow, the birds singing, and the sun shining nice and bright. It was a great way to end our busy day 🌞

Week 2 Day 2

Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

It was a Ms Amy day!

Ms Amy Wednesday

Ms Amy always has fun practicing speech and language! Our friends had lots of opportunities for different kinds of movement.
