The Tallest Tree

Nothing says "welcome back to preschool" like a nice long walk around the neighborhood! I know I have said it a million times over the course of this year, but we are offered so many learning experiences by being able to explore our neighborhood and check out the community. Today, we took a nice long walk over to one of the biggest trees in the area! Not only did the boys show great determination climbing the hill to the tree, but also had some of the best walking stamina we've seen all year!

Once we arrived, both boys immediately approached the tree and stared in awe. This tree made these two boys look so tiny! They rubbed their fingers and hands along the bark  and explored the grooves by taking very close looks.

It's so great to be back and see how much the boys have grown over the last couple of weeks.

Week 2 Day 2

Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

Happy First Day of School 24-25!

Welcome Pine Families to our 24-25 school year! We were so happy to have your kiddos with us today. Check out the fun we had :)

Day 2 Pine room fun!

Today we spent more time getting to know each other and exploring our spaces. For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.
