Playscape Songs

And just like that, our 3 day week is over! This week J got to spend a lot of time with our friends over in Dogwood. It was great! We were finally able to enjoy some of this warmer winter weather and spend time outside on the playscape. We haven't been to the top by the instruments since before winter break so the kids were anxious to get to play with some of their favorite toys out there. J immediately gravitated towards the xylophone! With a ball in hand and a tune already in mind, J began bouncing the ball across each bar and sang the "ABC" song to himself.

I love that J finds such joy in singing familiar songs and playing along with them on just about anything he can turn into an instrument. He will be quite the musician one day!

Have a great weekend and we will see you all next week!

Week 2 Day 2

Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

Happy First Day of School 24-25!

Welcome Pine Families to our 24-25 school year! We were so happy to have your kiddos with us today. Check out the fun we had :)

Day 2 Pine room fun!

Today we spent more time getting to know each other and exploring our spaces. For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.
