Building Together

This morning the boys took to the carpet and started building small towers together! It isn't every day that the three of them want to play the same thing, but today they all seemed to gravitate towards the large blue blocks and the cardboard bricks strewn across the floor. With a little bit of help stabilize the base, the boys were taking turns stacking different pieces on top of one another and then ultimately knocking them down. It was fun to watch the boys get excited for one another when they took turns to push over each structure. As they continue to grow closer as a class they have been showing more care for one another and genuinely want each other to succeed.

I think we all seek this kind of connection with people- surrounding ourselves with people that lift you up (maybe quite literally!) and provide space for you to grow! I love that we get to start that kind of teaching at such a young age with these sweet boys. Cheers to caring for one another!

Week 2 Day 2

Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

Happy First Day of School 24-25!

Welcome Pine Families to our 24-25 school year! We were so happy to have your kiddos with us today. Check out the fun we had :)

Day 2 Pine room fun!

Today we spent more time getting to know each other and exploring our spaces. For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.
