Welcome to the Pine Room Restaurant

Anyone else ordering out on nights you don't feel like cooking? Found a favorite go to restaurant? Well I am happy to announce that the Pine room has had their soft opening for our little restaurant this morning! All three boys were eager to get their hands on some pretend food and kitchen tools to start the day.

J worked hard chopping up vegetables & fruit while L plated the food and served everyone around the room. A was our quality assurance guy as he inspected each piece of pretend food for perfection. Each boy played a small role in our make shift restaurant, but stayed engaged for a long time this morning. Their pretend play skills are really starting to form nicely and we are able to revisit some activities from the beginning of the year. It's an amazing transition to say the least.

Week 2 Day 2

Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

Happy First Day of School 24-25!

Welcome Pine Families to our 24-25 school year! We were so happy to have your kiddos with us today. Check out the fun we had :)

Day 2 Pine room fun!

Today we spent more time getting to know each other and exploring our spaces. For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.
