Early Celebration!

The boys had such a fun day today celebrating J's birthday! He will be 4 on Saturday so we took the opportunity to make him feel extra special here at school.

J brought in a balloon which the boys went crazy for! They played "keep it up" along with watching it stick to everyone's clothes from the static electricity. Unfortunately, the balloon did not last very long seeing as it popped from an unfortunate accident with a stick, BUT the fun didn't end.

J requested to have some bubbles so we had a big bubble party!

To end the day, J got a special birthday song with a pretend cake and candles. This was the perfect way to "blow" out the candles per COVID guidelines. Happy birthday, J! We love to celebrate you and all of the joy you bring to our small classroom 😊

Week 2 Day 2

Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

It was a Ms Amy day!

Happy Wednesday

How lucky are we that it was nice weather which allowed for much needed outside time!
