Echo in the Snail

Our little friends were quite vocal throughout the morning! One place in particular that's always a fun time to check out vocalizations, singing, and screaming is inside the snail. The snail provides quite the acoustics and really allows for the sounds to carry across the school grounds. Today, B & T gave their best efforts to sing and make some noise in the snail. When we first started singing together, B and T were quite shocked by the echo coming from the inside the snail. They looked around with curiosity, but did not hesitate to jump right in!

As we are hearing more words, phrases, and vocalizations from all the boys it's been fun to test out volume and now echoes!

Have a great weekend and stay safe out there!

Week 2 Day 2

Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

Happy First Day of School 24-25!

Welcome Pine Families to our 24-25 school year! We were so happy to have your kiddos with us today. Check out the fun we had :)

Day 2 Pine room fun!

Today we spent more time getting to know each other and exploring our spaces. For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.
