Collaborative Art

When thinking about how we can continue to foster our community in the classroom, we also have to consider the class that is right next door.. Dogwood! We are so fortunate to share a room with another class that shares a lot of the same interests. So what's one way we can bring it all together? Through art!

Today, N joined the boys over in Dogwood to help create a masterpiece. It wasn't typical painting with brushes... instead the boys used cotton balls and clothespins!

This was such a fun way to interact with our Dogwood friends in addition to creating something all together. Team work is just one of the core values in our room and we take any opportunity we can to strengthen that.

It was a Ms Amy day!

Happy Wednesday

How lucky are we that it was nice weather which allowed for much needed outside time!

Happy New Year!

Hello Pine AM friends! It is so nice to see you guys again after 20 days! I hope everyone enjoyed the time off and maybe even a little fun in the snow. Today we only had 2 kiddos come to school which felt so strange but we made the best of it. We will be ready to fully jump back in the swing of things next week with new words IN and OUT, exploring our expanded Bakery and Cafe in our dramatic play area, reading stories about winter and hands on experiences with things that are cold.
