Sweet Gestures

As we continue to build our little community, the boys have been learning how to work together, use gentle hands when playing, and making friends with the boys over in Dogwood. Over the last few weeks we have seen so many amazing interactions between all of them. Today, I was finally able to catch it on camera! Although the video was originally capturing another moment, I am much happier with what we did see!

As you see below, N was crawling across the log with grace, but there was a bit of an obstacle. B from the other room had a small part of his body in the way. You just have to watch to see what happens next!

This sweet moment was just too good. Although these two boys see each other daily, we haven't seen this kind of play yet! Such a great way to end our time outside today. Way to go, N!

Week 2 Day 2

Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

Happy First Day of School 24-25!

Welcome Pine Families to our 24-25 school year! We were so happy to have your kiddos with us today. Check out the fun we had :)

Day 2 Pine room fun!

Today we spent more time getting to know each other and exploring our spaces. For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.
