Bubbles!

Here we are at the end of another great week with the boys! Today we spent a majority of our time outside and playing hard. As the boys ran around, played in the cave, and even had a chance to do some painting we noticed they were hot and tired! We headed inside to begin a more relaxing last part of our day. After snack the boys gathered on the carpet and we safely "blew" some bubbles using a fan and the bubble wand!

The boys watched the bubbles float above their heads and used their pointer fingers at first to pop them. As we played for a bit longer, they both chose different ways to pop. Sometimes they would stomp, clap, or even jump on top of the bubbles! It was fun to be able to watch their curious minds at work to figure out how to make them burst in mid air.

It was such a nice way to end our week by slowing down and concentrating on one thing. The boys are so responsive to all the gross motor moving we do, it was absolutely perfect!

Have a great weekend and we will see you all on Monday!

Week 2 Day 2

Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

It was a Ms Amy day!

Happy Wednesday

How lucky are we that it was nice weather which allowed for much needed outside time!
