Go Away Big Green Monster!

Good morning and happy Monday! Wow, I cannot believe we only have two weeks left of school! It is crazy to think about all of the ways in which we have been able to stay connected while we continue to practice social distancing and shelter in place. It is pretty amazing to see the ways in which we can all share with one another, even though we all staying home. It's quite comforting!

Over the last few weeks, I have been trying to do things that bring me comfort. One of my favorite down time activities is reading! The book today is one of my favorites we have read in the Pine room. As we head into this new week, Ms. Kari and Ms. Julie will read Go Away Big Green Monster and show you how your children can draw as they go along!

Week 2 Day 2

Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

Happy First Day of School 24-25!

Welcome Pine Families to our 24-25 school year! We were so happy to have your kiddos with us today. Check out the fun we had :)

Day 2 Pine room fun!

Today we spent more time getting to know each other and exploring our spaces. For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.
