It's Time to Move!

Good morning! Oh man, is it hard some days to move around and get some energy out. I know I struggle with ways to keep myself physically going while at home because I am not walking or moving as nearly as much as I was when we were in school. Trust me, I would much rather just lie on the couch or sit in the sun then get up and do some physical activity on this rainy day! Some days I have to get creative on how to move: go for a walk, do yoga, dance party in the kitchen, etc. There are so many ways to do so!

In today's plans for self care, there is a link to participate in some yoga and deep breathing. I encourage you, however, to first follow along with Ms. Julie to expel some extra energy and dance along!

After dancing and moving, click on over to enjoy some calming movement which is equally important!

Keep those bodies moving however you can! I am choosing to dance from one room to another to keep the energy and joy flowin'!

Week 2 Day 2

Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

Happy First Day of School 24-25!

Welcome Pine Families to our 24-25 school year! We were so happy to have your kiddos with us today. Check out the fun we had :)

Day 2 Pine room fun!

Today we spent more time getting to know each other and exploring our spaces. For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.
