Solution to a Problem

E walked over the picked up the fan. He's been so interested in watching how it pushes the different materials across the table so it was no surprise when he started pushing the button to make the pinwheel spin around and around.

E hit the button. Nothing happened.

Frustrated, E hit the button again. Nothing.

E continued to press the button and inspect the fan from all angles.
"It's not working. It needs a battery!"

E tried one more time before realizing he could make the pinwheel move by blowing on it. He puckered his lips and started blowing the pinwheel watching spin and spin.

Several others tried to use the fan as well and didn't have any luck.
"I think it's broken."
"Maybe it needs a battery."
"I think it got wet in the rain."
"Maybe we can fix it!"
"How are we going to fix it?"

How are we going to fix the fan? Do we even need to fix the fan if we can use our mouths to blow the materials and pinwheel?

Week 2 Day 2

Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

It was a Ms Amy day!

Ms Amy Wednesday

Ms Amy always has fun practicing speech and language! Our friends had lots of opportunities for different kinds of movement.
