New Friend!

Today we welcomed a new friend in Pine! F got a chance to check out all different spaces and meet all new friends. We are so excited to have him in our class!

F was really interested in making tunnels for his car. He would push it with force and watching the car zoom across the table and eventually falling off. He giggled as he played.

F also showed off his building skills at the light table. He would build tall towers with the transparent blocks, each one taller than the last.

While outside F really enjoyed being able to climb up the large rocks and slide down. He took many turns with friends from different classes.

F also found comfort in swinging with E & V. He would yell, "go!" in order to be pushed a little higher and a little faster. E & V reminded him to "keep your feet up!" as they swung back and forth.

F ended his time outside by finding a puddle! He would stomp and march in the puddle. He giggled as the water brushed his legs. F had a great first day in his new class!

Week 2 Day 2

Pine Family is rocking and rolling in week 2! We are having less feelings of sad, mad, and scared upon entering class and more happy and fun throughout the day!  Friendly reminders: Water bottles should only come to school filled with water (it's the best for our bodies and in case another student would accidently take a sip it won't cause harm), sunscreen should be applied before drop off (there is not a lot of shade and not a lot of time for us to get the kiddos all lathered up), and bug spray should be applied before drop off (this is mostly needed when we start going to the forest on Tuesdays, starting on Sept 12th). Thanks :)

Happy First Day of School 24-25!

Welcome Pine Families to our 24-25 school year! We were so happy to have your kiddos with us today. Check out the fun we had :)

Day 2 Pine room fun!

Today we spent more time getting to know each other and exploring our spaces. For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.
