THURSDAY IS HERE!!!!! *correction

Pine Family! Our group remains small as illness plagues the school. We are making the best of it and when friends are not here we always wish them well. If you want to support what we are doing at school, while at home when you are out, that is awesome! Today we worked more with magic words IN and OUT, and our good question words WHO? We also continued working on our motor skills and literacy skills. I am so proud of my friends for knowing so many of their letters!!!!!!! We played a game at group time with our characters from the story The Mitten. Ms. Carrie put animals on a tray (3 to start) and named them for everyone. Then she covered them up with her magic blanket and when she lifted the blanket, an animal was gone! The question for our friends was "Who is missing?" Everyone did great and had fun :)  For gross motor time we visited the Art Atilier Enjoy your weekend and stay healthy!!!!

WEDnesDAY

Happy Wednesday Pine Friends! Today we played more with our magic words UP and DOWN and our good question WHO? Our centers helped us practice our letters and letter sounds as well as making our names. We also got a chance to work on our motor skills (coordination, balance, etc.). We are also learning some new skills about the books we read: what the story is about, how to retell the story in order (first, next, last; beginning & ending), and WHO the characters are. Lastly, we practiced our Earthquake drill. Feel free to discuss this at home so your child feels educated and safe if something like that were to happen. (At school they may announce it or the building might start shaking which could cause things to fall. We then need to crawl under the table and tuck our bodies like a turtle and cover our heads with our hands.)
